We braved the crowds yesterday for a trip to the Calgary Stampede. It all started at 9:30 am with a C-train ride to the grounds. Sonia and Rylee thought that was pretty exciting. We saw the real Barney show, Superdogs, Indian PowWow competition, got some Army tattoos and hugged Mounties. We met Angelina Ballerina, danced the Chicken Dance, drank fresh squeezed lemonade and got our picture taken by the Calgary Herald. Lucky mom had two amazing, well behaved cowpokes under her wing (thanks to the power of the Barney bribe!) They made it til 6:30pm. What a day. Yee Haw, have a great weekend!!
