School is out, ballet is over, soccer league play is over, so I guess it's time to relax.... yeah right.
Report cards were outstanding, ballet routines were executed perfectly and Sonia had her first goal in soccer. Rylee can write her own name, Sonia can tie her shoes/cleats and do simple addition. Rylee can do all of the 24-50 piece puzzles and has been working on a 100 piece puzzle today that she promises to finish tomorrow. That's the news.
We have lots of fun stuff to do this summer. Riley Park wading pool is high on the list, we spent a mosquito bitten hour there today and plan to go as often as possible. Rylee had a blast, no DEEP end there. She's petrified of deep water even with her life jacket on. Our friends Alison and Miguel were over today for a play and a Barbeque. We plan to sqeeze in two more visits and a sleepover before they move to Victoria, BC next week. We'll miss them a lot, Rylee loves the sleep overs with Ali. We hope to visit them on our next trip to Parksville to visit Great Grandma, Uncle Bob and Uncle Dave and Aunt Elaine. This summer we're planning Canada Day in Canmore with Grandma Rose and Grandpa Ron, attending the Med. Hat Stampede in July, an anniversary party for our friends the Bambers August long weekend and our friends wedding in Edmonton August 23rd. Lots going on. We'll post more pics soon. H.
